The project presents Catania: its agri-food products and its beautiful sights

On Friday morning, September 16 during the workshop, held at the Sheraton in Catania, operators in tourism and quality agri-food from Catania met foreign buyers. Each of the operators presented their local, certified products: oil, pistachio nuts, wine, preserves and many more, creating great B2B meetings. The end of the event saw a series of negotiations concluded successfully. Take a look at the gallery!

On the morning of Saturday, September 17th all the participants at the initiative had a short walk on mount Etna and visited the Terrazze dell’Etna winery to taste its wines. They enjoyed a detailed description of how the winery produces its wines and a walk through the vineyards that concluded with the tastings at the old, restored wine-cellar. On the afternoon of Saturday, September 17 attendees had the chance to take a guided tour of the famous tourist resort of Taormina, perched on a rocky plateau of Mount Tauro.
